The Amazon Global Military Affairs (GMA) team established the Amazon Military SkillBridge (AMSB) program, through the collaborative efforts of the U.
S.
Department of Defense (DoD) by making the company an approved DoD SkillBridge Industry Partner.
Amazon can now provide eligible transitioning military members with fellowship opportunities across the company.
The goal for GMA is to train and extend full time offers to AMSB participants, just in time for their military transition into the civilian sector.

Through Cohort Based Training, GMA has already engaged with certain businesses and helped them develop a training plan that would cater to a cohort of military members.
The Cohort Based Training model is designed to fill specific roles within the business, at specific locations and dates.
However GMA recognizes several military members have timelines, roles of interest, or location preferences that do not align with the cohort training model, thus the AMSB individual fellowship opportunity was established.

You can troubleshoot and solve straightforward problems that do not have defined SOPs.

Managing local technical projects.
Maintaining or creating policies, procedures, and processes.
Identifying root-causes of operational issues and process inefficiencies.
Moving up to 49lbs as well as standing and walking during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
Traveling up to 25% of the time.
