Overview
Drivers responsible for delivering perishable organic produce to stores, restaurants, specialty markets and co-ops. Drivers mainly transport between D.C, NY and Philadelphia. Physical job. Drivers load/unload freight using pallet jack, hand cart or dolly and lift gates. Dedicated customer base. Stops can vary between 1-18 per load, depending on run. Schedule is 4-5 day workweek. Must able to work Saturdays and holidays when needed No Sundays. Day shift starts 3 a.m. Drivers average 10 hours per shift, 50 hours per week. Paid training.
Compensation
$19.50 per hour to start
Increase at 6 months and 1 year
$975 per week average
$50,000-$60,000 per year average

Requirements
CDL-A
1 year tractor-trailer experience
Team experience preferred
NYC driving/delivery experience required
Load/Unload experience required
