Description

The Associate Project Manager, Technology will provide project management support for VSR+ projects (VSR+ is our cloud-based proprietary inventory management system). This role will assist the lead project manager on VCM (Chemical Management System), VEM (Equipment Management System) and more complex VSR+ implementations; as well as provide level 2 technical support for all systems managed by the Customer Solutions Team. The Associate Project Manager will be responsible to produce and maintain training materials and support for all systems as assigned.


Job Responsibilities:




  • Implementation Project Manager for Basic VSR+ Projects-


    • Determine optimal functions to implement based on customer?s current processes and proposed enhancements to offer efficiencies


    • Oversee project team to complete implementation


    • Build VSR+ instance


    • Manage onsite and offsite implementations




  • Customer presentations and demonstrations of VSR+, to including:


    • Current process assessment


    • Demoing VSR+ capabilities tapered to customers? needs, current processes and proposed enhancements


    • Proposal Management - Determine what additional features to offer




  • Consignment replenishment Implementations


  • Provide training for all systems managed


  • Provide technical support for all systems managed by the Customer Solutions Team


  • Provide post implementation follow up support for our customers


  • Implementation support for VCM and VEM projects

Experience & Skills:




  • Intermediate working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint


  • Good oral and written presentation skills


  • Good presentation and selling skills


  • Attention to detail


  • Ability to Travel - Travel requirements are potentially 35 to 45%

Qualifications:




  • Associates Degree required, preferably in information systems or supply chain management


  • 1-2 years? applicable experience


  • Experience with VSR+ preferred

Environmental Working Conditions & Physical Effort:




  • Typically works in an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation and a normal range of temperature and noise level.


  • Travel to VWR, supplier and customer locations.


  • Work assignments are diversified. Examples of past precedent are used to resolve work problems. New alternatives may be developed to resolve problems.


  • A frequent volume of work and deadlines impose a strain on a routine basis.


  • Minimal physical effort is required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting or carrying objects that typically weigh less than 10 lbs

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
