Godwin, a Xylem brand, is a leader in portable industrial pumping. We offer full-service dewatering capabilities including pump sales, rental, and on-site service to transport water and wastewater to customers worldwide. The company has a reputation for providing the very best customer service and support in the industry. We are currently seeking top candidates to become part of our team and have an opening for a Pump Repair Mechanic.
Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance and servicing as directed on Godwin fleet equipment between each rental.
Perform inspections and maintenance on customer jobsites.
Perform an initial inspection of Godwin fleet equipment for possible damages; diagnose damages; report damages to Service Manager.
Create an accurate and legible parts and repair list for assigned fleet equipment.
Review list of parts with Service Manager and obtain approval to continue with servicing and repair.
Repair damaged equipment. Test all repaired equipment for proper operation and quality.
Perform preventative maintenance on shop equipment as directed
Perform related duties as assigned
Methods, materials, tools and techniques used in equipment repair and maintenance.
Some travel required, working on customer jobsite's
Diagnosing mechanical and electromechanical problems
Minimum Qualifications:
Methods, materials, tools and techniques used in equipment repair and maintenance.

Diagnosing mechanical and electromechanical problems
General diesel engine repair
General DC electric and circuit testing skills
General diesel engine component location and identification
Advanced knowledge of engine electronics, variable frequency drives and monitoring/controls system preferred
Three to five years' experience and/or training or combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position

Shop environment: intermittent exposure to all outdoor weather conditions; intermittent exposure to shop noise and fumes all within limits of OSHA standards
Manufacturing environment: may be exposed to loud noises, changing temperatures, machinery with moving parts and various materials
Extended hours as needed (weekends, overtime and on-call rotations)

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
