Manager, Secondary Market Sales

Job Description Responsible for executing residential mortgage loan sales to meet defined goals and objectives. Monitors investor pricing and is responsible for setting daily mortgage interest rates in conference with VP - Secondary Marketing. Supported by, and oversees the daily work of the Secondary Market Specialist position. II. Principal Responsibilities Sets mortgage rates and manages distribution of rates for retail and wholesale in an accurate and timely manner. Ensures all calculations, formulas, and systems related to rate setting process are accurate and support department goals and objectives. Determines best method to sell pipeline loans to investors ensuring a cost effective and efficient execution for the organization and taking into account department objectives, policies and gain on sale goals. Manages allocation of loans to loan sale commitments to ensure commitment requirements are met. Manages all aspects of the day-to-day activities related to loan sales and commitments, including managing the position report. Designs, executes, and distributes various reports for internal use. Manages the response and resolution of loan exception requests submitted by originators and processing staff, periodic bulk sale transactions, and various special projects as required. Prepares accurate reports used for accounting purposes that adhere to all internal policies and procedures, as well as FASB standards. Ensures reports, methodologies, and calculations for Mark-to-Market and all other department reports are accurate. Adheres to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards, requirements, and policies. Job Requirements III. Education/Experience Requirements College degree or equivalent work experience required. 5-8 years relevant experience. IV. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
